Years ago we used to sing a song that said, “Vacation Bible School is here, Tra-la Tra-la, Tra-la! Bring lots of joy and cheer, Tra-la Tra-la, Tra-la! And how true that is. A mist all the hard work and preparation, I think the worker get more excited than the kids.

VBS is here, beginning Monday, July 21st and going till Friday, July 25th, it is always a great time. The church is transformed onto a far away place and kids are everywhere. But the really great thing is every year some kids are saved and we are able to reach new families. Come be apart of it.

By the time you get this, the concert on the river would have just ended and Heritage Day is beginning. What a great day that is. God has always proved to be awesome during our celebration.

We will be receiving the Troy Zwilling Capital Improvement Offering. I hope you have been in prayer about what God would have you do.

You have heard the plans for the Lay Revival weekend set for September 26-28. I hope you mark your calendars for this. It will be a fantastic weekend.

                                                                                                    Heritage Day

Heritage Day is this Sunday, July 20th.  The capital improvement offering project is the reuphostering of the pews.  Early estimates have the cost of that project at $7,000.  The goal is very reachable; just do what God leads you to do.

There will be a pot-luck dinner following the Heritage Day services next Sunday.  Make sure you bring enough for you and a guest.  And don't forget to invite your friends.

Because of the Heritage Day Celebration there will be NO evening service on July 20th.
